Swim Lessons for Future Carefree Crocodiles!
We’re
excited to again offer SwimAmerica™ swim lessons to children
from Greenwood and surrounding communities. We hope your children
will join us.
About the
Carefree Crocodiles Swim Team...
The Carefree
Crocodiles Swim Team, sponsor of the SwimAmerica™ lesson
program, is a recreational program offering children an opportunity
to “get their feet wet” with a splash of competitive
swimming. As your child improves, we invite you to join us!
Lesson Details...
Lessons are
designed for both the novice swimmer as well as those children
who wish to improve their strokes. Swimmers will progress through
a ten levels designed to teach water safety, introduce and perfect
swimming fundamentals and enhance stroke development. Swimmers
must be at least 5 years old. 4 year olds will be considered
pending approval of the SwimAmerica™ Site Supervisor.
We will offer
four sessions of lessons at the Carefree Pool, located at the
intersection of Leisure Lane and County Line Road.

Our Staff...
Swim lessons
will be directed by Marcie Colwell, Site Supervisor and Age
Group Coach for the Indy Dolphins. Marcie will be joined by
trained high school and college age students who will provide
close supervision and detailed SwimAmerica™ instruction
to our young swimmers.
Parent information
night will be May 4th from 6:30 - 7:30pm. If you cannot make the
parent meeting just contact any board
member for sign up.
